Itinerary 7 – Duration 13 Days – Rasabi Kenya Collection Safari

Tsavo West – Amboseli – Outspan – Samburu – Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

Day 1 – Nairobi to Tsavo West

Your Safari Guide will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi.
You will be driven to Tsavo West National Park (318 kilometres / 198 miles).
Enjoy lunch at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.
Your first game-drive will be this afternoon at a time convenient to you. Return to the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Tsavo West

An early morning game-drive followed by a bush breakfast at Lion Rock.
Lunch at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge followed by an afternoon game-drive.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3 – Tsavo West to Amboseli

After an early breakfast you travel to Amboseli National Park (267 km / 166 mi).
Lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge followed by an afternoon game-drive and an exclusive tea at the Amboseli Sanctuary.
Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 4 – Amboseli

An early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Lunch at the Lodge followed by an afternoon game-drive around the lakes and springs.
Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 5 – Amboseli to Outspan

An early breakfast and then travel to the historic Outspan Hotel in Nyeri (215 km / 134 mi).
Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Outspan Hotel. Alternatively transfer to the world renown Treetops Hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 – Outspan to Samburu

Breakfast at Outspan (or Treetops) and then drive to Samburu (179 km / 111 mi).
Lunch at the Samburu Ashnil Camp situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River.
Afternoon game-drive and return to Samburu Ashnil Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 – Samburu

After breakfast, experience a full day game-drive in the Samburu National Reserve.
Picnic style lunch in the bush or return to the Camp for lunch
Return to Samburu Ashnil Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
There will be an opportunity to visit a local Samburu village where you will be introduced to the customs and culture of this semi-nomadic pastoral tribe.

Day 8 – Samburu to Lake Nakuru

After an early breakfast you depart for the Great Rift Valley and to Lake Nakuru (287 km / 178 mi).
Lunch at Lake Nakuru Sarova Lion Hill Lodge followed by an afternoon game-drive.
Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.


Day 9 – Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

After breakfast you travel to the Maasai Mara National Reserve (257 km / 160 mi).
Lunch at the Ashnil Mara Camp followed by an afternoon game-drive.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Day 10 – Maasai Mara

After breakfast, experience a full day game-drive in the vastness of the Maasai Mara.
Picnic style lunch in the bush or return to the Camp for lunch.
Return to Ashnil Mara Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11 – Maasai Mara

Breakfast followed by a game-drive en-route to the Mara Serena Lodge.
Lunch at the Lodge and then an afternoon game-drive.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 12 – Maasai Mara

One more full day to explore the wonders of the Maasai Mara.
Picnic style lunch in the bush or return to the Lodge for lunch.
Return to Mara Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13 – Maasai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast a final game-drive through the Maasai Mara en-route to Nairobi (305 km / 190 mi).
Your Safari Guide will escort you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home.
